HOLA
Okay, so this week was pretty interesting. Yesterday, I found out that my Zone, Suba Zone, is the most dangerous in the whole mission! My comp was told this by others after he was told he was going to be coming to the Suba Zone, so I don't know if its for sure accurate but I mean I can definitely see how it would be. Perfect place to start the mission right? haha. Nothing bad has happened to us, just a few close calls this week.
So, my comps 24th Bday was on Tuesday and we had intercambios (I think its inner transfers in English) with the Zone Leaders. Villa Maria has 4 missionaries and is divided into Villa Maria 1&2 so the Zone Leaders made trios with both of us. Elder Bushman was with us. We were able to teach a big family (grandparents, siblings and spouses and their kids) that day too. We got talking to them because elder Bushman heard them say something about "Hey are those Gringos" and so he turned around and said "Yep were Gringos" and then we had a lesson. From all of them I think that 2 of them really want to know more. Something that I've learned from being here is that it is SUPER important for member to help with the missionary work. It can be anything from going to lessons, giving references, or fellow shipping an investigator. We don't have too much help from the members and it makes the work a lot harder. So, I'm asking you guys to help the missionaries out because it really does help the work a lot.
We still don't have appliances or plates or forks or anything in our house so I'm starting to appreciate the simple things in life SO much more! And the power went out during the middle of this email so that's why its about 6 hours after the others. We are in a different area now because our whole area doesn't have power because they are doing something with the power I guess...I don't know haha. But this week was pretty good! The weeks are starting to go by faster and I'm starting to find ways to have fun, even when I cant understand most people. Oh and one of the members told me that the US is super close to a war with Russia! Can you please inform me on this because if I come back to the states and we are in the middle of a war...the Second Coming must be coming faster than I thought :) Well, I should probably go now but I have pictures of my apartment now cuz I had time to take them after the power went out. I love you all and thank you so much for all of your support! Talk to you guys in a week!.
