We are getting a washer!!!!!! YAY!!! Trust me, it's a big deal, ha ha. Today we spent 4 hours washing our clothes in a machine we rented that is supposedly a "washer". And I'm pretty sure that in Cúcuta our clothes dry faster hanging up than they would in a dryer. So, we are now set to go.
This week has flown bye!! It's weird that my birthday is next week again. We had the other 2 missionaries in the ward stay at our house for 5 nights while their house was getting fixed and it was horrible, ha ha. Let's just say that a lot of patience was used. We did a service for the Moreno Family (investigators) and we got FRIED!!! It was a SUPER hot day and I only put sunscreen on my face...genius, I know. We helped tie iron bars together to make a wall on their house and then we shoveled a ton of dirt into bags and then moved the bags by the house. But, at least I'm working on my tan again after not seeing the sun for about 6 months. :) We have been using the area book a lot lately and are finding old investigators that are super awesome!
I love this gospel and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary and serve the Lord for 2 years. I keep learning and my testimony grows little by little everyday. I know this church is true and I know that families can be eternal. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for us one by one and I know He lives today. Thank you for all of your support! Talk to you next week. Chau!
