HI GUYS!
Another week has just FLOWN bye!  It's honestly scaring me a little just how fast time is passing by.  Before I know it, I will be in my last few days....NO!  Well, first update.  Starting January our mission, Colombia Bogotá Norte, is going to get gringa missionaries!  (North American Sister Missionaries).  So that's going to be super weird haha.  I honestly feel really bad for the first few gringa Sisters because I know they are going to get SWARMED by missionaries and if out of Bogotá, they will get swarmed by Colombians.  But, we will see what happens.
Other update.  We had concilio on Thursday and everything went well.  I didn't forget anything which I give all the credit to my super OCD perfectionism and checking lists like 5000 times haha.  But this concilio had the most supplies that we have had in a long long time because we hadn't had one since the end of Sept and we won't have another until December.  THERE WAS SO MUCH STUFF!  So after concilio, we taught the guy who called us that wanted to know more.  He is SUPER awesome, went to a church activity Fri and then went to church on Sunday!  However, we found out he doesn't live in our area and actually lives in Federman :( but he may move!  So we will see what happens.  So after the appointment, I got a call from a missionary and he told me that his comp had a headache and then started to have paralysis...FREAK!  So they were already in the clinic but I had to go to the office to send them a Letter of Guarantee.  After calling Aetna and getting the letter and emailing it to the clinic they told us that they were not going to accept it.  So, I sent a different letter and they refused that one too.  But in the end the elder left at 1AM and they only had to pay 150 thousand pesos and the elder is doing well now.
Tomorrow I have to go to the Santa Fe hospital to get some blood test results and x-rays for the sister that refused to take my advice and insisted on going to the doctor.  I definitely have my schedule full, with meetings, missionaries calling, and then having to go and run around Bogotá a little bit.  But I'm definitely learning patience and I'm learning how to plan better and get things done more efficiently and faster.  It's cool being in the office and I like it.  The only thing that I don't like is that it is really hard to find and teach people with a limited schedule.  But, we are working on it and this week won't be as hectic as last week.  Some parts we have been advised not to go at night, which also makes it hard to find less actives when they live in those parts.  But if there is a will, there is a way and with the help of God EVERYTHING is possible.  We just have to keep working hard and contacting and I know that we will find people that live in our area and we will have success.  I love this gospel and I know that this church is true.  I know that everything that happens in our life is for a reason and is perfect.  The only thing we have to do is keep the commandments and endure to the end.  The gospel really is simple.  Its only our natural man and temptations that make it seem so hard.  Love you all!  Have a great week!

Hi Everyone!
Another week has FLOWN bye!  So Sunday morning, I got calls at 2AM and 5:50AM from an Elder and a Sister missionary.  There has been a lot of sick missionaries lately and others who just know how to drive me completely crazy.  Growing up, we never went to the doctor and if we were sick Dad always said, "It will go away", haha.  And he was right!  So now, when missionaries call me for a stomach ache, the flu, or a freaking boil I just want to tell them, "Take a pill, and wait.  It will go away".  Some are okay with a pill but others won't take anything if it's not from a doctor and then there are others who INSIST on going to the hospital and won't take no for an answer.  So, I'm learning a lot of patience, haha.  I may have kinda fought with a Sister missionary on something, but then I called her back when we were both calm and she said she would take my advice.  Oh joy.  Then, these next days are going to be CRAZY because we have concilio on Thursday and I have to get all packages and proselyting materials for all of the zones to a chapel in Alhambra and some Zone Leaders still haven’t sent me what they need.  And tomorrow I have intercambios with my ZL.  So, I cant wait for it to be Friday.  Well, actually I'm really excited for Thursday night at 7:30pm because a few hours ago a guy called me and said he found my number online and wants to meet with us to learn more about The Book of Mormon, baptism, and the gospel in general.  AWESOME!!!!!  We still only have 2 investigators in total, but we are still trying to work hard and find new people, and that they live in our area!!  There are so many people that live in the Bogota South Mission.  Well, I don't get tired of saying so I will say it again.  I LOVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!  It is literally the best thing ever!  It brings so much peace in difficult times when there is literally NO reason to feel peace.  I know that it is only through our obedience to the gospel that we can find real happiness, joy and peace in this life and in the next.  I know that families are forever and God knows us perfectly.  Keep on keeping on and I will talk to you guys next week!  Love you guys and thanks for your support and prayers!

HI GUYS!
Well, this week flew bye so fast!!  This morning at 3:30am, I got a call from a district leader about a sick sister in his district and how she was freaking out and wanted to go to the hospital.  So, I then had to call her and help her.  I talked to her about 7 hours before and told her to have medicine by her bed in case she woke up in pain.  But apparently she didn't have any left so when I called she went looking for pills that they had and she found an antihistamine.  I told her to take it because it would at least make her drowsy and she could sleep.  All she really had was the cold but she took it and I'm pretty sure everything went well...well at least she didn't call me back so I think so. haha  My comp and I are trying to work as hard as we can in our area and we have found a few new people to teach this week.  So, hopefully we will be able to teach more people in these coming weeks.
This week I also found out about the passing of my cousin who was just 16 years old.  It was super difficult when my mission president called me into his office and told me the situation.  I was filled with so many emotions of sadness, anger, shock, and just didn't know what to think.  However, after about 15 mins a huge wave of peace came over me and I stopped crying and I just felt calm in my heart.  It was honestly really strange.  But later, I was thinking about that experience and the only conclusion I can come up with is that it was the Lord comforting me through the Holy Ghost.  I know that God knows each and every one of us and knows each of our situations perfectly.  I know that we are literally His children and He is our Father.  I also know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for each of us so that He may know exactly how to help us during our trials.  I know that families can be eternal through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know one day I will see my cousin Bryson again.
I know that the Plan of Salvation is true and is perfect.  For those of you who do not know what The Plan of Salvation is, I invite you to ask your Mormon friends about it or go to www.lds.org to find out more about this amazing plan that explains to us where we came from, why we are here on the earth, and what will happen to us after this life.  I love you all and thank you so much for all of your prayers and support!
