HOLA!!
MY COMP AND I WERE ROBBED!!!! Well, kinda. Someone stole the light bulb outside of our apartment so now its super difficult to get to our apartment. We told the security person and he said that it was probably this guy who stole a cell phone from some kids a few days before and has stolen other things from people. He lives in our building so he told us to be careful because he will steal anything. But im not too worried. This week we had a meeting for new missionaries and trainers. I saw Elder Sorenson from the CCM and it was so nice to hear that he had been struggling too! Well, I wasn't happy to hear he was struggling but I was happy I wasn't the only one. But my Spanish has definitely improved a lot, which is probably due to the fact that there is literally no English in my life anymore other than letters or songs. So, its either learn Spanish, or feel completely left out. The weeks have not been easy but they have progressively been getting better. I found out that my area is HUGE!! We tried to find a woman's house, who apparently lived on the very end of our area ( and we live on the very end of the area on the other side) and it took about 45 mins to walk to her house. Now I remind you that this is a missionary pace walk, which in other words is like a light jog. I have no idea how the Latinos can walk so dang fast! Oh yeah and walking has been difficult because my left foot is basically destroyed. I have an ingrown toenail on my big tore and then im pretty sure I bruised my heal bone, so walking has been loads of fun, which is basically my entire day because no one here keeps their promises about appointments. Oh yeah, there was a baptism for the Hermanas investigators this week and it was awesome! Today we went to some park place which is way up in the mountains, then ate, then played mini golf again like last week. I like this schedule for Pday much more than playing soccer all day that we did the first 2 weeks. The Latinos are CRAZY about their soccer! Anyway, that was pretty much it for this week. Once I start to understand the language and know what's happening, I will tell you about some cool experiences with investigators haha. Love you all!
