HEY GUYS!
Well this was the craziest week of my entire life!! We had concilio on Thursday again so I was super busy Mon - Thurs afternoon. I don't know why but everyone decided to get sick and call me Mon-Wed, which made things so much more fun, haha. There was a case of chickenpox, a series of events that are now leading to a colonoscopy, a missionary that REFUSED to take anything I told her and said she just wants to go to the hospital (that was a fun one), and then another missionary who had surgery 2 weeks before coming to Colombia and is now having problems. But as of today no one has died, I have made almost all of the appointments and follow up appointments, and I didn't forget anything at concilio. I did tell the missionaries in concilio to take something before calling me and that we aren't going to go to the hospital for every little thing. So we will see if they listen, haha. The only thing that is stressing me out is that we don't really have any Books of Mormon in the office anymore and it takes 5-7 weeks for materials to get to Colombia. And the Books of Mormon that I have sent have had many problems. So that's my project this week on top of other stuff.
We had our ward Christmas Party on Saturday and it was really fun. And my comp and I are finding more people to teach ( less actives, and investigators). Yesterday, we went to a new Less actives house and she lives in the Calle 18 (really south and sketch), but we went when there was light so we were okay. But, we did find out that the street she lives on is FULL of prostitutes...that was an interesting experience to say the least, haha. But my comp and I are excited to start working with these new people! Then today, I went to a member who is a dentist and she cleaned my teeth, gave me 7 sealings, and then I bought some toothpaste and a lot of floss. The total was 135,000 pesos...which I'm pretty sure is SUPER cheap and she will give me a free cleaning before I go home :) Well I got to go now. Love you guys and talk to you next week!
