Xiomara was baptized today!! I baptized her and tomorrow my comp will do the confirmation. We also officially rescued Jairo and Carlina Acosta (the grandparents). The other children have some problems and it's been a little hard to get appointments with them but we are going step by step. I feel like I just wrote yesterday. I'm now 99% done with fixing problems with cell phones, books of Mormon, and other material which means that I'm not as stressed and I can focus more on sick missionary calls, doctor appointments, and other fun medical stuff, ha ha. We haven't had any big emergencies lately which has been nice. But an Elder did break his arm last week. Medical care in Colombia is SO much different than in the US and can test your patience at times. There have been some "protests" lately, but we haven't seen a lot because we aren't out on the streets during the day. But its nothing dangerous if you're smart. Elder Bonilla and I have been getting along still and we should have some new investigators this week, which is exciting. It's pretty rough having a max of 3 hours a day to work in the field and not being able to go to about a third of the area because we shouldn't go there at night. We are trying to work the best we can and find more people. If we are obedient and doing what we should be doing, the Lord will help us and put people in our path. So, I'm not too worried about it.
I totally forgot it was St. Patrick's day (so did Elder Lindley and Barthlome) so we wore green on Friday and had our special St. Patrick's Day, ha ha. We did Tim Tam Slams with Thin Mints to celebrate. And apparently it was the first time that Elder Barthlome had had a girl scout cookie. He lives in a very remote place, but I'm still not sure if I believe him, ha ha. But ya, this week has been pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Oh yeah, the new video, "Hallelujah" came out! It's awesome! If you haven't seen it, go to www.mormon.org/easter and watch it now. And then share it with everyone! I love this gospel and I'm so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that it is only through His Atonement that all mankind may be saved if we follow the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Have a great week!
