HOLA!
Okay, to start off, I will give you guys a little update on the "Black List" situation. We received a new rule on Wednesday that we have to be inside at 7pm and can have lessons in the chapel, but only in the second floor. This news was a little hard to take at first because all of our solid lessons are during 6-8 pm, however, we are now working harder in the morning and are trying to find people who can go to the church at 7 and 8 for an appointment. So far, things have gone pretty well and we haven't had a really hard time with lessons. I wont inform you guys on the details of things that have happened due to the Black List because I don't want you guys to freak out. All you need to know is that we are fine, we are taking precaution, and the Lord will protect us as we continue to work hard and obey the rules we have been given.
So on Saturday, we had intercambios and I was with Elder Perdomo and we worked in Barbosa 1. We were in the middle of our companionship study when we heard a knock on the door and it turned out to be the Stake President and a Brother form the Stake who is in charge of autosufficientcy of the Stake. They told us that they wanted to join us for a few hours today and asked if we could go out with them from 10am to 12pm. Now the thing is Elder Perdomo didn't have an appointment during this time because they had a plan on doing other things that they had to do. So we put 2 families that we could pass by and hopefully they were there. We went down to meet them and we found out that the Stake President was going to join us. So on top of Elder Perdomo and I only being in Barbosa for 5 weeks, on top of the fact that we were in intercambios and I didn't know any of his area so it was all on Elder Perdomo, and on top of the fact that there wasn't a plan for 10am-12pm because of language study and other things, the Stake President was going to work with us. FREAK! Haha. So we went to the first house which is at the top of this SUPER steep hill and...no one was home. On the way to the second family we passed by a members house so the Stake President wanted to hare a message with them. So we did that and when we go to the second family's house...she didn't have time at the moment. And by this time we had 30 mins left and that's about how long it took to walk back to the church. So, it was a pretty interesting experience. I felt bad for Elder Perdomo because I didnt know anything about his area or investigators so I just followed haha. However, we did end up having 2 lessons that day, even with having to be inside at 7pm, so it was a pretty good outcome. But ya, we are still working hard to find people in Barbosa who actually want to learn and will show up to appointments. Its been pretty rough, but we will continue to press on and eventually find these people. I honestly cant remember anything else from this week that was out of the ordinary or something that would be cool to share. Love you all and thank you so much for all of your support!!
