Qué más!?
So, this week was an interesting one. I have been having problems with my comp. That's been a fun time haha. But things have gotten a lot better. Nothing crazy has happened with health of the missionaries. Well.....there is one thing with one Elder that happened basically all day Tuesday, but its kinda a private issue. But I love the Elder, he is super funny and just a quality guy. I got a call at 12am like Wed or something from an Elder saying that his comp is at the clinic because he had stomach pain. It turned out that he just has gastritis. Last night, a sister called me at about 10:40pm and said that she couldn't breath well. I was talking to her and it sounded like the thing I had when I was little and my air pathways started to close up and I could barely breath when we were camping. So, I told her to turn on her hot water in her shower, shut the door, and take slow, big, deep breaths and to call me back if it didn't help. And she didn't call me back so I think everything went well!
My comp and I are in the process of looking for a new apartment because first we live about 9 blocks from our area and our house has a HORRIBLE draft so we are freezing all the time. We have looked at some apartments but it's hard to find one in the right area for the right price. Right now we are paying 1,095,000 pesos a month and it is really hard to find one for 1,300,000 pesos or less. So that's been a tiring process, haha. My comp and I finally put on the wigs, glasses, and teeth that you sent me in my package (pictures attached). We had a bad week in the field but are going to work on it this week. It was more because we just weren't getting along. Then, we had Stake Conference this weekend..it was AWESOME! Elder Ardila, from the 70, came and talked. He is a power (él es un poder). I'm not sure if the English translation works, but that's how we say it in Spanish, haha. During the conference I was thinking about the Atonement and Mosiah 15:5-9 and I really do "stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me" every time I think of his sacrifice. THE GOSPEL ROCKS! Everyday is a challenge, but with the help of the gospel we can truly find happiness in this life. Love you all and thank you for all of your support!
