HI!
This week was great! We are finding new people and they are actually interested! haha. We also had 5 investigators go to church!! We also had interviews with President Laney and it was awesome! President and Sister Laney are so amazing and I'm super excited to be able to work with them. I ATE HORMIGAS CULONAS this week during the time we were at the chapel for interviews! They are big ants here in Santander that people eat. The name translated more or less is "Big butt ants". It was actually pretty good at the beginning and tasted like popcorn. Then came the after taste and I needed water haha. Elder Reid took a video because my camera died but Ill send it to you guys later. So I can now say I've eaten an ant.
Today we went to another waterfall in Piedecuesta which was AWESOME! We took a bus 30 mins and then hiked up a mountain for an hour, and the waterfall was so beautiful! And no one else was there, but I think part of the reason is because there isn't a real trail to get the the waterfall haha. But I'm super excited to keep working this week and next week I will let you know a little bit more about investigators individually. I love this gospel and I love being a missionary and sharing the message of the restoration with everyone! Thank you all for you love and support!
