Greetings from BUCARICA, BUCARAMANGA!!
This week was super full of stuff, haha. Well first on Wednesday at 3:30am, we had to leave for the bus terminal to pick up Elder Reid´s new comp, Elder Martinez , who is fresh out of the CCM and from Argentina. Elder Reid is from Texas and my comp, Elder Aguilar, is from Ecuador and just finished his training. Our house is super gross and dirty and a bit of a wreck , haha. We only have cold water in Bucaramanga and our shower here is the tiniest thing I've ever seen . It is less than 2 normal tile lengths wide and about 5 tiles long . I've hit the glass walls so much showering , I think one day I will break them , haha. So lets just say showering here is super fun. And then we are all sleeping in the front room because their aren't enough bed frames and we only have one fan right now. Oh and I finally washed my clothes by hand because our washer is broken and I needed clean clothes. That is a definite workout and I'm so grateful for washers now, but washing by hand gets them cleaner so that is a plus.
Bucarica is BEAUTIFUL and FULL of trees and plants. Today we went on a hike to some waterfalls in the mountains. We hike d uphill for about 2 hours and were up there for an hour and then came back. The nature here is crazy awesome and beautiful! We have some pretty poopy (rich) people in our ward with houses that you would find in the US on a mountain with awesome views. This week we have been working on finding new people because we don 't have many investigators. We are still looking but I'm sure we will find people who are prepared by God to accept his gospel. Oh yeah, their was also a drunk guy last night in the street yelling at me in English to go home and other vainas (stuff) . I just started laughing and didn 't pay attention to him. I love the mission SO much! I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to share the gospel with so many people and see the joy that it brings to their lives. I know this church is true and that families can be together forever through the Gospel of Jesus Christ which has been restored to the earth. I'm sorry this was all over the place but I dont have time and I have to go. Love you all and thank you for all of the prayers and support!
