¡Hola! I only have 15 minutes so i will try to fit as much as i can. my first 2 flights went as planned and on the first flight I met a Sister Missionary who just got her visa for Brazil after a year and was leaving too. So it was nice having another missionary there while waiting for the first plane (which was super small!). i had to walk for about ten minutes once I got to the SLC airport because for some reason all of my terminals were always super far away from where i got off. The flight to Atlanta was super long because I couldn't sleep for more than 5 mins at a time. The Atlanta airport is HUGE! I walked for about ten minutes and then get on an underground train to my terminal. However I met another Sister missionary who was leaving for Peru on the train so I talked to her for a little bit. Once I finally got to my terminal, I sat with all the other missionaries going on the plane. there were 16 of us reporting to the Colombia CCM, it was so cool to see such a huge group. Apparently there is about 100 missionaries here now, which is the largest this CCM has ever had. It was also nice because we all had no idea what was going on for most of the time, especially the Customs stuff. Oh yeah, our plane was an hour late so we ended up getting to Bogota at about 10:15pm. But we were in the airport for about an hour and a half because the luggage took for ever to get and we had to go through customs. We left the airport at 11:45 and go there at about 12am. we had a little food and were given a short introduction. after, we met all the missionaries here and they gave us some more advice. I saw Elder Ream and Elder Manwarying which was really cool! I probably went to bed at 1:30 and had to wake up at 6:30..but that was more sleep than the night before. We didn't get to unpack either so I just found some random clothes and went to bed in them. Oh and I have no idea where my shower sandals are. Anyway, Its been super busy here but really fun because you know everyone else is feeling the same way. The teachers and helpers speak very, very little English so Its helping with my Spanish. Bogota is beautiful though, and not humid at all right now and was pretty cold last night. So far everything is going well, I know I don't know much but I know that if I put all my all into studying here at the CCM then I will be able to go into the field with as much knowledge the Lord needs me to have. Love you all! And thanks for not crying like crazy when I left. I think the next time I can write is next Friday. As you know the Pdays are really weird here so i honestly have no idea whats happening.
